The Meals on Wheels Bill Fortune 10k run to Benefit Meals on Wheels Guess Mike Seidenfrau's finish time 50/50 club

The Bill Fortune 5k and 10k run is a fundraiser to benefit Meals on Wheels of Rockland at Rockland Lake State Park. One of the entrants in the 10k, a Rotary member from the Congers Valley Cottage Rotary Club, challenged the members of the club last Friday to guess his time to help raise money for Meals on Wheels.  What was born from this challenge was the "Guess Seidey's 10k" 50/50 club.  In order to help support MOW's, it will cost 20 dollars to enter, and the person guessing closest to Seidenfrau's finish time will win half of the pool, while the Rotary Club will donate the other half to Meals on WHeels of Rockland at the regular June 1st meeting of the Congers Valley Cottage Rotary Club, 12:15, La Treistina in COngers, right next to the site of the race, which is Rockland Lake.

This pool gained a lot of steam very quickly, and the pot is already north of $1000.  Part of this reason is to do with Seidenfrau's comeback from a very serious accident that occurred last summer at Rockland lake and the other reason is Rotary is a huge supporter of Meals On Wheels.  If you would like to enter the pool to win, mail a check payable to the Congers Valley Cottage Rotary Club, PO bo 18, Congers NY, 10920, and write on a piece of paper your guess and the best way to reach you if you win. as long as checks are post marked bu Friday, you entry is good.
