Haverstraw Man Accused Of Serial Shoplifting
Arrested Saturday, he had open charges based on incidents at the same location on three other dates, police said.
STONY POINT, NY — A Haverstraw man was arrested Saturday after Stony Point police officers responded to Shoprite for a shoplifting complaint.
Further investigation revealed the man, identified as Eugene Bronico, 53, had open charges for shoplifting at the same location on three separate dates, police said.
Bronico faces four charges of petty larceny and four charges of criminal possession of stolen property, police said. He was processed and turned over to the Town of Haverstraw police, in whose jurisdiction there are also open charges against him.

He is due back in Stony Point Justice Court June 8.
