Health Officials Lift New City Boil Water Order

The broken water main has been repaired.

NEW CITY, NY — At 10:30 p.m. Friday, the Rockland County Health Department lifted a boil water order issued on August 18 for these addresses in New City:

  • Tioga Ct - # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
  • South Mountain Rd – # 612, 614, 635, 637, 638, 642, 646, 649, 651
  • Seneca Ct - # 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
  • Sandstone Trail - # 6, 8, 10, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33
  • The Glen - # 1, 4
  • Centenary Church Rd - # 8, 10
  • Windermere Lane - # 1, 3, 4, 5, 7
  • Evergreen Lane - # 12
  • Pine Lane - # 15, 17, 21, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 33, 34, 37, 38
  • Shady Brook Lane - # 19, 23, 31
  • Old Rt 304 - # 249, 265, 270, 281, 282, 285, 286, 290, 362, 363, 364

If you live at one of those addresses, it is no longer necessary to boil your water prior to consumption. Lab results indicate that the water meets all safe drinking water standards.
