Hudson Valley Man Charged In Death Of Twins Left In Car
The Rockland County resident said he had forgotten the children were in the car when he went to work, police said.
A Rockland County man went to work Friday morning in the Bronx and, police said, left his 1-year-old twins in the car. The children died hours later.
Juan Rodriguez, 39, of New City, was charged with two counts of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide, according to News 12.
The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

Police said Rodriguez told them he had forgotten they were there after he dropped another child — a 3-year-old — off at a Westchester home, WABC-TV reported.
Rodriguez works at the VA Medical Center in the Bronx. The children were identified as Mariza and Phoenix Rodriguez.
