Keith Furey, Clarkstown Swim Coach, Dies After Long Battle With Cancer

Keith Furey, a Clarkstown High School swim coach and long-time Boy Scout leader, died Thursday after a two-year battle with cancer.

Furey, 48, is survived by his wife, Deanna, and five children: Dominique, 22; Frank, 21; James, 15; Michael, 13; and Marianne, 10; as well as a grandson, Ayden.

Wake services will take place: 

Sunday, July 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway, Nyack.

Monday, July 4, from 3 to 5 .m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church, corner of Main Street and Third Street, New City.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church.
