Legislator Kantrowitz Congratulates Boulders on First Can-Am League Championship

Boulders Also Receive Distinguished Service Award for Charitable Efforts

Rockland County Legislator Barry Kantrowitz congratulated the Rockland Boulder’s Organization on winning their first Can-Am League Championship.

Present to accept Certificates of Appreciation were: Ken Lehner, President of the Boulder organization, Shawn Reilly, Executive Vice-President and General Manager, Seth Cantor, the Voice of the Boulders and Boulder Bird, the team mascot.

Legislator Kantrowitz also presented a Distinguished Service Award to the organization in recognition of the organization’s charitable efforts to support over 250 local non-profit agencies.

“Winning the league championship was a well-deserved reward that reflects the hard work of the players and the strategy of the organization to build a competitive and talented team,” said Legislator Kantrowitz. “The Boulder’s have built a supportive and loyal Rockland fan base over the past three seasons and I know the fans are proud of this accomplishment. What the Boulder’s provide in terms of excitement is only eclipsed by their charitable contributions to over 250 local not-for-profit organizations. They have built an important bond with neighboring Hi-Tor Animal Shelter that has resulted in several adoptions. We will all look forward to next Spring.”
