Letter to the Editor: Sidewalk Project Unkempt, Unsafe

Dear Editor,

I am truly concerned about the sidewalk that is being constructed on King Arthur Court and East Cavalry Drive.

The sidewalk has been under construction for at least three months, the entire summer! The site is dangerous and unkempt.

I have contacted the builder, the town and town officials but all that has been done is a wrapping of yellow caution tape around the site’s perimeter. Now the tape is ripped and torn at certain parts.

So much for the beautification and safety of New City.

I am disgusted with the lack of attentiveness to the hazards in our community. Plus, where is the safe sidewalk for the residents of New City?
