Millwood Among A&P Stores Sold in 2nd Auction

The Greenburgh store opened Oct. 11 as ACME as the transitions continue.

Supermarket News reports that A&P sold eight more stores in the second round of auctions last week.

That includes:

  • The Millwood A&P to Ruben Luna, owner of Key Foods and C-Town
  • The Hastings store to Shanghai Enterprises
  • A real estate group called CW A&P Mamaroneck LLC bid successfully for the Mamaroneck store

There were another 72 stores in that round which went unsold. Some of them received bids that were under A&P’s limit, Supermarket News said. That leaves about 72 out of 300 stores still on the block.
