Minor Injuries to 4 in School Bus Crash in Valley Cottage: Police

An accident involving a school bus and a car sent Clarkstown police to Route 303 and Lake Road in Valley Cottage at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 4.

The accident involved a Peter Brega school bus carrying three children to the Rockland County Day School in Valley Cottage, police said.

The bus struck the car in the southbound lane of Rt. 303.

The bus driver and the children were transported to Nyack Hospital for minor injuries. Both occupants of the car hit by the bus refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.

The accident had minimal impact on traffic and the cause of the accident is being investigated. The ages and sex of the injured are not available at this time.
