The 10-year-old reported missing yesterday is alive and well, police told The Journal News.

Spring Valley police told The Journal News that the 10-year-old reported as missing yesterday is apparently alive and well in New York City.

While she has not yet been located, she has been in touch with friends and family on Facebook.

After Kelly Rivera-Pillco was reported missing -- when her mother found out she hadn't been in school -- local police and volunteers mounted a search, fearing she might be in danger.
