How did you come up with the name?

Omega means great and that is what we want this business to be.
Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
I have always owned the building so it is a perfect place for my business.
Briefly, what business are you in?
We perform elevator inspections and provide elevator consulting.
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
We have to try and explain to a customer that a inspection is required and how important it is for safety reasons.
Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
There are always challenges—the start up costs and getting and maintaining customers to continue to grow each year.
What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
We have been able to sign some major contracts for performing elevator inspections in many prestigious buildings in Manhattan. Such as Chase Manhattan, Westin Hotel Payless Shoes Stores, The W Hotel.
What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
Showing customers how to track and find all of the violations on the properties.
How do you deal with difficult customers?
We always take the time to explain the whole process of an elevator inspection. The most important part to stress is that safety always comes first when dealing with an elevator.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
We are very involved with community efforts. We participate in the scholarship programs for the Sons of Italy, we are involved with Jawonio in New City.We donate to many local charities.
