New City's Republican Presidential Campaign Contributions

Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump haven't raised a lot of money in New York.

NEW CITY, NY - New York residents have donated more than twice as much money to Democrats as to the Republican candidates running for president.

GOP candidates have raised $10.4 million in the Empire State, compared to the Dems’ $24.5 million, according to Federal Election Commission campaign finance reports. Of course, Clinton is a New Yorker, domiciled in Chappaqua, and Sanders is next door.

Sen. Marco Rubio, who has raised the most in New York ($2.3 million), has received $285 from one New City donor -- who is also the only New City donor to Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign.
