North Softball Ends Regular Season With Decisive Win Over Suffern
Excellent pitching, hard hitting helped Rams finish 13-5 season on a high note.
North Softball played an excellent game on Thursday, finishing off its regular season strong with a 7-0 victory over the Suffern Mounties.
The Rams pulled ahead early in the game and never let up. They connected well to score three runs off of three hits to make the score 3-0. Though they had a quiet third and fourth inning, the Rams fielding and pitching kept the Mounties from closing the gap.
This brought the game to the top of the fifth, still with a score of 3-0. Though the Mounties continued to play solid defense, the Rams played better offense. They connected well with the ball to score two more runs. They finished with a solid defensive effort to leave the Mounties trailing 5-0.

Despite their significant lead, the Rams did not get complacent in the sixth. They built on their lead in the top of the inning with two more runs to bring the score to 7-0. Though they were unable to score any more runs, they closed out the game with excellent fielding and pitching to leave the final score at 7-0.
This decisive win concludes a great regular season for the Rams and sends them into the playoffs with a well-earned confidence in their position as a top-contender. Their season of 13-5 gives them a record to be proud of and is one which they have worked hard to attain.
