Orangeburg Man Charged with DWI after I-87 Crash
minor injuries to the other driver, Clarkstown police said
On July 6, 2015 at 9:38 p.m., State Police responded to a two vehicle collision on I-87 in Clarkstown.
During the trooper’s investigation, the driver of one vehicle, John Martini, Jr., 59 of Orangeburg, NY was found to be intoxicated. Martini was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.14 percent. Martini was charged with:
- Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor
Martini was turned over to a sober third party and release on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on August 5.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered from neck and back pain.
