Orangetown Police Need Your Help Solving Pedestrian Hit-And-Run

A person walking in the early morning hours on Sunday was hit by a car, described as a black, 4-door sedan which didn't stop afterwards.

ORANGEBURG, NY — The Orangetown Police Department is asking for help from the public.

Early Sunday morning, shortly before 2:30 a.m., Orangetown Police Department officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

The collision took place on East Central Avenue in Pearl River. According to witnesses, a black four-door sedan headed east struck the pedestrian and kept going.

The Orangetown Police Department is currently investigating the incident. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has any additional information about the crash, to contact the police at (845) 359-3700 or send an email to this address.
