Palisades Night Closures Southbound Into July
Construction work on part of the Palisades Interstate Parkway shifted from the northbound to the southbound side on Tuesday.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Construction work on part of the Palisades Interstate Parkway shifted from the northbound to the southbound side on Tuesday. All lanes on the southbound side between exits 13 and 15 will be closed weeknights until July 13. Single lane closures on this portion of the Parkway are expected to occur at 8 p.m. prior to the full closure.
Crews are performing construction activities, weather permitting, on the southbound side of the parkway between Old Gate Hill Road and US Route 202.
Follow the signed detour, and anticipate delays.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.
Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
