Palisades Parkway Lane Closures

New York transportation officials warn motorists that the left lanes of the northbound and southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway between Exit 8E (Route 59 Nyack) and Exit 8W (Route 59 Spring Valley) are closed, while crews perform bridge maintenance activities.

Lane closures will be in place until further notice.

Traffic is maintained in both directions, but motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
