Paterson Man Stabs Co-Worker At Rockland Warehouse

HILLBURN, NY – Town of Ramapo Police responded at 1:39 p.m. Monday to a report of a fight in progress at a warehouse at 230 Rt. 59 in Hilllburn. When they arrived, the officers were advised by a 41-year-old employee that he had been stabbed by a co-worker.

Officers arrested Ahmed Mashal, 20, of Paterson, NJ. Mashal was charged with Assault in the First Degree, a Class B felony; and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

He was being held in the Ramapo Police Lock-up pending arraignment in the Village of Hillburn Justice Court.

The victim, whose name is being withheld, was treated at the scene and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance.
