Pedestrian Killed In New City
The Clarkstown Police Department's Accident Investigation Team was at the scene for hours.
NEW CITY, NY — A New City resident died Saturday when he was hit by a car on North Little Tor Road.
Clarkstown police were called at 1 p.m. to the intersection with Tor Terrace. They found Steven Semoff, 64, lying on the southbound shoulder of Little Tor Road. Rockland Paramedics and New City EMS both responded. Semoff was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Semoff stayed at the scene and displayed no signs of impairment, police said.
