Police Looking into Similarities Between Haverstraw and Fishkill Bank Robberies

FISHKILL, NY — The robbery that happened Sunday in Fishkill could be linked to an earlier one in Rockland County.

The man shown in surveillance photos from the TD Bank in Fishkill was said by officials to look similar to the man who robbed the Haverstraw Chase Bank July 19, News 12 said.

The state police said the man was white, in his early 20s and 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He was wearing dark sunglasses, a dark baseball cap, a Harley Davidson T-shirt, dark patns and white sneakers.

The Haverstraw robber was described as being a little shorter and either a light-skinned Hispanic or white, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
