Cops ID Bathrobe Burglar

Commenters on the video posted on Facebook were taken particularly by the man's attire and footgear.

UPDATE: The Ramapo Police Investigations Division arrested Krzysztof Niepostyn, 26, of Suffern on Tuesday. He was identified in part by video footage obtained regarding a burglary on Saturday, which revealed a suspect climbing through a kitchen window of a residence in Airmont.

Through investigation Niepostyn was identified and arrested, police said. He was charged with Burglary 2nd degree, a class C felony, arraigned and released after posting $25, 000 cash bail pending a future court appearance in the Village of Airmont Justice Court.


ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Police in Ramapo have arrested a suspect in the bizarre Nov. 25 breaking-and-entering that was caught on video. A 26-year-old Suffern NY man has been charged with Burglary in the 2nd degree, a felony.
