Ramapo Police Still Probing CSHS Grad's Shooting Death

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY —It's been two years, but Ramapo police have not forgotten the fatal shooting that took place in Hillcrest two years ago.
Nicholas J. Jasiel was found on Dwight Avenue, at 9 p.m. Dec. 7. The 19-year-old died two days later at Westchester Medical Center. A Nanuet resident, he had graduated from Clarkstown South High School in 2018.
"The incident is still an open and active investigation," police said on Facebook.
