
At about 10:10 p.m. Sunday, Ramapo Police officers received a report of an attempted robbery that had just occurred on Concord Drive in Monsey. Officers met the victim who stated that he was walking on the street when he was approached by two men, one of whom demanded that the victim empty his pockets and give them his property.
The victim said began to yell for help, at which point the suspects ran away.
A short while later, a Ramapo officer located two men who fit the description of the suspects, walking on Cedar Lane in Monsey. The two were stopped and arrested.

- Yashuan Vasquez, 18, of Monsey
- Attempted Robbery in the Second Degree (Class C Felony)
- Menacing in the Second Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
