Rockland Boulders Offer Two-For-One Deals

Baseball team discounts available on 2/4; first home game set for May 17.

The say they're stepping up to the plate with a special deal on tickets and team gear for the 2012 season on Saturday.

On Feb. 4 — 2/4 — the pro baseball team is having a two-for-one sale. The team is offering two-for-one on select season tickets, flex plans, mini-plans and group tickets. Tickets must be paid in full. The team store at in Pomona will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and fans can buy select team merchandise at two-for-one prices.
 
“In 2013 and beyond, we anticipate Two/Four Day sweeping the nation and becoming a shopping phenomenon,” said Boulders Team President Ken Lehner.  “In the meantime, this is an incredible opportunity for our fans to get Boulders merchandise and tickets at a one-time discounted price.”

Individual game tickets are set to go on sale in April.

The team is a member of the Can-Am League Professional Baseball League. For 2012, the Can-Am League and the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball (AA) have agreed the two leagues will play an interlocking schedule.

The Can-Am League will adopt the AA’s 100-game schedule, with play starting May 17 and ending Sept. 3. Five Can-Am teams will make one 10-game road trip to AA cities, and five AA teams will play 10 games each at Can-Am ballparks, for a total of 100 interleague games.

The AA stretches over 1,700 miles from El Paso, TX, to Winnipeg, Manitoba. Last season, more than 2.1 million fans attended AA baseball, which  features three of the most popular independent — the Kansas City T-Bones, St. Paul Saints and Winnipeg Goldeneyes.

The Boulders are set to play 50 home games at Provident Bank Park, with the team playing its first home game of the year on May 22 against the Newark Bears.

In 2011, the Boulders report that nearly 125,000 people attended games at Provident Bank Park in the team — and the stadium's — debut season.
