Rockland Coronavirus Update: Hospitalizations Climbing
99 people are hospitalized in the county with confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19.
ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — As of Dec. 28, 761 people have died of COVID-19 in Rockland County since the pandemic began 10 months ago.
Sixty-two of them died in December.
There are currently 99 people hospitalized in the county with confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19. That's up from 53 cases Dec. 4.

Since the pandemic began, 26,707 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Rockland. The county has added nearly 10,000 positive cases since Oct. 13.

Rockland's current test positivity rate is average for the Hudson region, according to the most recent data from New York State's NY Forward dashboards.
