Rockland Country Day School Congratulates Grads

The success of the RCDS students reflects the school's focus on a rigorous curriculum.

From Rockland County: Rockland Country Day School offers heartiest CONGRATULATIONS to the Class of 2018! RCDS graduates received $490,000 in merit aid from the colleges and universities they have chosen to attend. This is a remarkable achievement for these exceptional students. 100% of our graduating seniors will be attending one of their top choice universities this year including, Sarah Lawrence College, American University, Syracuse University, Brandeis University, The New School, Tisch College at Tufts University, University of Connecticut, Penn State University, Pace University, Pratt University, Oberlin College, Nazareth College, and University of Southern Maine. While their interests are varied, from liberal arts to engineering, their choices reflect a stated desire to continue their higher education as they transition from undergraduate collegiate programs to graduate studies.

The success of the RCDS students reflects the school’s focus on a rigorous curriculum, taught by excellent faculty and educating students as individuals in an inclusive and innovative environment. As Emily, Class of ’18, said, “So, thank you to Rockland Country Day, for giving me the ability to say that my friends and classmates are among my biggest and most inspiring role models. To the class of 2018, my biggest hope for us is that we all continue inspiring others and that we become role models for those in other communities. Thank you all!” And, from Jessica, Class of ’18, to her fellow graduates “... the world will be an infinitely better place precisely because you stand out, because you think for yourself, because you dare to make your dreams
a reality.” We look forward to continuing to serve the wonderful children of Rockland County and the
surrounding communities by providing them with an RCDS education.
