The sentences, based on the work of the county's Drug Task Force, will run concurrently.

NEW CITY, NY — A Monsey man received 10 sentences adding up to 10 years in prison Wednesday for his role in a major heroin and cocaine operation in Rockland County.

Aaron Parker of 220 Kearsing Parkway, Monsey, New York will serve a total of 10 years in state prison for a variety of felonies, including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree, a class “A” Felony and Operating as a Major Trafficker, a class “A” Felony," District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe announced. A total of 10 sentences relating to four separate indictments will run concurrently.

“This defendant was responsible for flooding the neighborhoods of Rockland County with powerful cocaine. Were it not for the hard work of the Drug Task Force, this dangerous criminal would still plague our community," Zugibe said. "His actions warrant the lengthy prison sentence.”
