“Across the nation, we have seen an increase in the number of bias-motivated incidents in recent years, including hate crimes against Asian Americans,” Legislator Paul said. “As a member of the Asian American community, it is my hope that, together, we can address the concerns so many are facing and find solutions.”
Legislator Paul extends an open invitation to anyone who may want to attend the presentation, which will include information about state programs and funding dedicated to preventing hate crimes and details about state Police recruitment efforts and hate crime investigators, as well as an opportunity to meet outreach officers.
