Rockland Posts Holiday Transit Schedule Changes
The County's Transit Information Center will be closed on Monday, the federal holiday for New Year's Day.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — The Rockland County Public Transportation Department has announced transit service adjustments for the New Year’s holidays.
On New Year's Eve, Transport of Rockland (TOR) bus routes will operate regular Saturday service and TRIPS paratransit will offer limited Saturday service. On Sunday, TOR will offer regular Sunday service and TRIPS will operate ADA Service only. On Monday, which is the federal holiday, TOR will offer Saturday service with regular service on Loops 1 and 2, and TRIPS will operate ADA service only.
The County’s Transit Information Center will be closed on Monday.

- NJ Transit’s Main/Bergen (Port Jervis) line will have regular weekday service with some extra trains.
- Coach USA Rockland Coaches will operate a holiday schedule.
New Year’s Eve
- TOR buses will operate regular Saturday service.
- TRIPS paratransit buses will operate limited Saturday service.
- Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate.
- Coach USA Shortline will have regular Saturday service.
- Coach USA Shortline (Exit 14) Express buses will not operate.
- Hudson Link buses will operate weekend service.
- Monsey Trails buses will not operate.
- Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will operate regular Saturday service.
- Metro-North trains will operate regular Saturday service with post-midnight service on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines.
- Metro-North Port Jervis Line trains will operate weekend service.
- NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley line trains will operate weekend service with extra trains on some lines.
New Year’s Day
- TOR buses will operate Sunday service on TOR #59, 91, 92, 93, and Loops 1, 2 and 3. TOR #94, 95 and 97 will not operate.
- TRIPS paratransit buses will operate ADA TRIPS Service only. Regular TRIPS Service will not operate.
- Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate.
- Coach USA Shortline (Exit 14) Express buses will not operate.
- Coach USA Shortline buses will operate a regular Sunday schedule.
- Hudson Link buses will operate weekend service.
- Monsey Trails buses will operate a regular schedule.
- Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will not operate.
- Metro-North trains will operate regular Sunday service on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines.
- Metro-North Port Jervis Line trains will operate weekend service.
- NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley line trains will operate weekend service with extra trains on some lines from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
- The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
Jan. 2 – New Year’s holiday (observed)
- TOR buses will operate Saturday service with regular service on Loops 1 and 2. TOR #95 and 97 will not operate.
- TRIPS paratransit buses will operate ADA TRIPS Service only. Regular TRIPS Service will not operate.
- Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate.
- Coach USA Shortline buses will operate limited service.
- Coach USA (Exit 14) Express buses will operate limited service.
- Hudson Link buses will operate regular service.
- Monsey Trails buses will operate on a special schedule.
- Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will operate regular weekday service.
- Metro-North will operate Saturday service with additional trains on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines.
- Metro-North Port Jervis Line trains will operate enhanced weekend service.
- NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley line trains will operate enhanced weekend service.
- The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
