If there are no new measles cases within 21 days of yesterday, when the active case was reported, the county health commissioner would lift a public health order and allow un- and undervaccinated children to go back to all schools in the 10952 and 10977 zip codes where the vaccination rate is lower than 95 percent.
Parents of affected students at Green Meadow Waldorf School are suing to get the ban lifted from their school, which is in the affected geographical area but which has not experienced any measles cases.
