Rockland Transit Schedules For The Christmas Holiday

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — The Rockland County Public Transportation Department has made service adjustments for the long Christmas weekend.

The County’s Transit Information Center will be closed on Dec. 26.

Friday - Christmas Early Getaway

• Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate a regular weekday schedule, with early getaway trains between noon and 4 p.m. on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines
• The Haverstraw Ossining Ferry will have early getaway ferries to meet the 2:43 p.m. train from Grand Central arriving in Ossining at 3:31 p.m., and the 3:21 p.m. train from Grand Central arriving in Ossining at 4:22 p.m.
• NJ Transit’s Main/Bergen (Port Jervis) line will have an early getaway train departing Hoboken at 2:41 PM (2:52 p.m. from Secaucus). The 6:14 p.m. train (6:25 p.m. from Secaucus) will not operate.

Saturday - Christmas Eve

• TOR buses will operate regular Saturday service.
• TRIPS paratransit buses will operate limited Saturday service.
• Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate.
• Coach USA Shortline will have limited service on some lines.
• Coach USA Shortline (Exit 14) Express buses will not operate.
• Hudson Link buses will operate weekend service.
• Monsey Trails buses will not operate.
• Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will operate Saturday service.
• Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate regular Saturday service.
• Port Jervis Line trains will operate weekend service.
• NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley trains will operate weekend service.
• The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate

Sunday - Christmas Day:

• TOR buses will operate Sunday service on TOR #59, 91, 92, 93, and Loops 1, 2 and 3. TOR #94, 95 and 97 will not operate.
• TRIPS paratransit buses will operate ADA TRIPS Service only. Regular TRIPS Service will not operate.
• Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate.
• Coach USA Shortline (Exit 14) Express will not operate.
• Coach USA Shortline will operate limited service.
• Hudson Link buses will operate weekend service.
• Monsey Trails buses will operate a regular schedule.
• Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will not operate.
• Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate regular Sunday service.
• Port Jervis Line trains will operate weekend service.
• NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley trains will operate weekend service.
• The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.

Monday – Christmas holiday (observed):

• TOR buses will operate Saturday service with regular service on Loops 1 and 2. TOR #95 and 97 will not operate.
• TRIPS paratransit buses will operate ADA TRIPS Service only. Regular TRIPS Service will not operate.
• Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate.
• Coach USA Shortline will operate limited service.
• Coach USA (Exit 14) Express will operate limited service.
• Hudson Link buses will operate regular service.
• Monsey Trails buses will operate on a special schedule.
• Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will operate weekday service.
• Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate Saturday service.
• Port Jervis Line trains will operate weekend service.
• NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley trains will operate an enhanced weekend schedule.
• The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
