Clarkstown School Board To Meet Wednesday Over Election Results
The Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday
NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown voters approved the school budget and chose two school board members Tuesday in a race for the Board of Education.
Incumbent trustees Zizette Deutsche and David Gosman sought re-election and resident Alana Rao ran again.
The district posted on its website that Deutsche and Gosman won. The Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, at which time the Board will declare the tallies from the election, the district clerk said.

Rockland BOCES provided results at 4:24 p.m.:
- David Gosman: 1906
- Zizette Deutsch: 1806
- Alana Rao: 1280
Voters OK'd the $244 million spending plan for 2023-24 with a 6 percent increase over current spending. The results posted on the website:

They also approved Proposition 2, authorizing an expenditure from the capital reserve fund:
