Scott T. McCue: Former New City Volunteer Firefighter

Scott T. McCue of Nyack, NY passed away October 13, 2014. He was 48.

Scott was born April 9, 1966 to William F. and Mary L. (Hewel) McCue. He has been a lifelong resident of Rockland. Scott was a past volunteer Firefighter with the New City Fire Department. He worked for 25 years as a Police Officer for the New York City Police Department and prior as a Union Iron Worker.

Scott enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for always helping anyone in need.

Scott is survived by his son Brian McCue of Orange County, his mother Mary L. McCue of New City, his siblings Sean McCue of Pennsylvania, Maureen (Michael) Murray of West Haverstraw and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father William F. in 2008 and his brother William D. in 2009.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Monday 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Nyack, NY. A private cremation will follow.
