Shooting Kills 17-Year-Old In Spring Valley Early Friday

SPRING VALLEY, NY — A 17-year-old Spring Valley man was shot fatally just before 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Meadow Lane apartments.

Spring Valley police said they were called to the parking lot on 150 West Eckerson Road for a shooting. They found a young man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. They attempted life-saving medical attention which was continued by medical personnel who arrived shortly thereafter.

The young man was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital via ambulance where he died, police said.
