SLOATSBURG, NY — Ramapo police were called to a one-car crash on Route 17 Thursday night. The driver managed to sever a telephone pole before stopping in the road, police said on Facebook.
The driver told police he fell asleep while en route home. He was wearing his seatbelt and sustained no injuries, police said.
