Spring Valley Man Accused In Fatal Hillcrest Hit-and-Run
An 82-year-old woman died, Ramapo police said.
RAMAPO, NY — A Spring Valley man faces a felony charge in a fatal hit-and-run case investigated by Ramapo police.
At 9 a.m. Feb. 11, an 82-year-old woman was struck and killed on Hempstead Lane by a car that kept going, police said.
On Thursday, Ramapo police detectives and members of the Ramapo Crash Investigation Unit arrested the alleged driver, Bryan Castillo-Solorzano, 26.

He was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident which resulted in the death of anoher. Castillo-Solorzano was arraigned and cash bail was set at $75,000, after which he was transferred to Rockland County Jail.
Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, limited details were shared with the public, police said Saturday.
