Sting Uncovers Alcohol Violations At 5 Spring Valley Restaurants: PD
One of the establishments was shut down for the evening due to underage customers with alcohol, officials said.
SPRING VALLEY, NY — Five local bars and restaurants were found to have alcohol-related violations during a recent inspection, according to police.
One of the five was shut down for the evening due to underage customers having alcoholic beverages, officials said.
Detective Sgt. Randy DiPaolo said the police department joined forces with the New York State Liquor Authority on Aug. 21 to conduct a joint enforcement operation.

Investigators did inspections at the following establishments:
- El Ray Del Pollo, 80 East Route 59
- Papusa Magica Restaurant & Bar, 96 East Route 59
- El Rodeo Steakhouse, 180 East Route 59
- El Pollo Grande Restaurant, 39 South Main Street
- Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar, 180 East Route 59
Police said alcoholic beverage control violations were identified at all five locations.

At the Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar, investigators found a “large number” of patrons under age 21 who had been served and were in possession of alcoholic beverages, police said. Inspectors also found additional violations there, according to police.
Officials shut that establishment down for the evening because of the violations, police said. The New York State Liquor Authority is in charge of an ongoing investigation.
