The environmentally-sustainable building is a perfect place to distribute the the organic, cold pressed lemonade with no added sugar.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Sweettauk Lemonade has expanded to the tri-state area and upstate New York, as well as New England, the Mid-Atlantic and Virginia. As you can guess, the organic, fresh squeezed, cold pressed lemonade with no added sugar is a company out of Long Island. Locally, it will be distributed through UNFI's Hudson Valley warehouse, which was opened in 2014.

The warehouse is a 500,000 square foot distribution center at 525 Neelytown Road in Montgomery, New York, designed and constructed using sustainable practices. Highlights of the sustainable design elements include:

  • Water use reduction of 45% compared to typical comparable building
  • Energy use reduction of 26% compared to typical comparable building
  • 75% of construction waste diverted from landfill
  • Building materials contain 30% recycled content
  • 30% of building materials from regional sources

“This is a large expansion for us and it could not come at a better time as we introduce our No Sugar
Added skus," Co-Founder and President Deb Azia said in a press release. [A stock keeping unit (SKU) is a distinct type of item for sale.]
