Thruway Lanes Reopen After Car v Motorcycle Accident

All lanes are reopened on the Thruway in Tuxedo after state police finished the on-scene investigation of an accident this afternoon.

State police were called to I-87 at about 3:16 p.m. Sept. 1 on a report of a collision on I-87 between a vehicle and a motorcycle.

Police said the operator of the motorcycle sustained a leg and minor head injury and was airlifted to the hospital.

The accident is still under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available, police said.
