Thruway Stop Means DWI Charge for New City Man
State police made the July 2 stop for a traffic violation.

At about 1:51 a.m. July 2, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation, and observed signs that the driver of the vehicle, Christopher Hernanadez of New City, NY was intoxicated.
Hernanadez, 24, was transported to the State Police barracks in Tarrytown, where he refused to take a breath test.

Hernanadez was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court July 27.
