Thunderstorms Could Interrupt Beautiful Summer Weather In The Hudson Valley
Thunderstorms are possible over the next four days, the National Weather Service says.

It's been a beautiful few days in the Hudson Valley, but the sunny summer weather could be interrupted by thunderstorms over the next four days. Plus, it's going to get much more humid.
On Wednesday, fair weather will give way to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The storms will be very slow moving, so where they occur, locally heavy rainfall can be expected, the National Weather Service says. (SIGN UP: Get Patch’s daily newsletter, news alerts and updates. "Afternoon highs will be in the mid 80s for most locations, and with dew points in the mid to upper 60s expected, it will feel quite sticky across the region," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "As we push into the afternoon hours, we’ll begin to see scattered showers and thunderstorms flare up again."

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday could see what Potter calls "pop-up" thunderstorms — isolated storm cells that are traditional in the dog days of summer. The Northeast looks to be avoiding the more severe storms plaguing the Midwest, according to AccuWeather.com.
And by Saturday night, skies should be mostly clear, if you want to start looking for those meteors.
