You may have already met the folks at Titanic Deli. You may even have visited their new coffee shop next door (the grand opening was in February). But you may not know the backstory.

1. How did you come up with the name?

Titanic Coffee was developed in Titanic deli 21 years ago, 1998. We named it Titanic because the size of the space it wasn't the typical small size deli and Titanic also means big. Besides, that Titanic movie came out a few months before we named it and that had to do with it also.
Next door became available and that is when we decided to give Titanic Coffee an independent location.

2. Why start a business in this town?
We started the business in town because of the available location and the need for a good deli coffee shop in Congers Lake Plaza.
3. What's your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenge is building clients by keeping them satisfied and happy to the point that they love to come back.
4. What has been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
People being impressed with our menus and the store atmosphere.
5. How do you give back to the community?
By having family-friendly relations with almost all our customers and by helping any one that is in need as much as we can.
