Program: In this exciting program, children will explore the world of film making! Using various art tools, students will create characters and scenery based on imaginative story telling. Students will then storyboard an idea, create a script, and use photography. They will study the various roles and steps involved in creating a film. Working together on production teams, students will be given sample scripts to turn into films. Students will have a chance to create their own independent film projects.
Eligible: All boys and girls in grades 4 - 8 who are residents in the Town of Clarkstown.

Registration: Registration is underway at the Administration Building, 31 Zukor Road, New City or online. To register online you must be issued a 2015 username and password. There will be a limited number of openings available for online registration. Proof of age (copy f Birth Certificate), and Town of Clarkstown residency (two forms of I.D. are needed: Example: Valid NYS Driver’s License and current utility bill for primary residence) are required. WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR A PROGRAM TWO WEEKS (OR LESS) PRIOR TO THE START DATE THE FEE MUST BE PAID IN CASH OR CREDIT CARD (VISA OR MASTERCARD).
