Union Representing More Than 28,000 Carpenters Endorses Carlucci

(New City, NY) Today, Congressional Candidate Senator David Carlucci picked up another major labor endorsement from the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC).

"David Carlucci understands the needs and values of working men and women, and he is a strong fighter for the labor movement. The NASRCC endorses David as a proven leader who will champion our cause in Washington, and we are proud to stand with him in his campaign for Congress,” said Bill Banfield, Assistant Executive Secretary-Treasurer for North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC).

“I’m honored to have NASRCC’s endorsement for my congressional bid,” said Senator David Carlucci. “Now more than ever our essential workers need someone who will fight for labor and ensure workplace safety standards, adequate personal protection equipment and quality affordable health care. Throughout my time serving the people of Westchester and Rockland Counties, I have stood up for a $15 minimum wage, 12 weeks paid family leave and protections for our unions. With NASRCC’s support, we will fight for our workers and ensure profits are not put before safety.”

The NASRCC represents more than 28,000 men and women employed by leading residential and commercial general contractors and carpentry subcontractors.

Carlucci has also been endorsed by Laborers Local 754, Rockland County Building and Construction Trades Council (RCBCTC), IBEW Local Union 363, Teamsters Local 445, and IUOE Local 825.
