Valley Cottage Animal Hospital Recognized by Clarkstown Town Council
The Veterinarians of Valley Cottage is named a 'Top Four Animal Hospital' in North America by the American Animal Hospital Association.

From GMG Public Relations, Inc.: On Tuesday, January 17, the Veterinarians of Valley Cottage Animal Hospital were recognized for achieving a milestone; being named one of the Top Four Animal Hospitals in North America by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. They are the first Animal Hospital in the New York Metro area to ever receive this prestigious recognition.
Dr. Patricia Collins and Dr. Diane Tortorice were on hand to accept the Certificates from Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann who also presented a Certificate from Rockland County Executive Ed Day who was scheduled to be there but had a last-minute scheduling conflict.
AAHA identified and selected four Animal Hospitals in the Companion Animal Category based on complex selection criteria that included factors such as standards of practice, quality of medicine, staff training, and community service. AAHA accredits veterinary hospitals based on over 900 standards covering quality of care, medical protocols, hospital facilities, doctor training, community service and charitable efforts.
