
New York residents are asked to vote on their local school district’s budget and board of education May 19.
Voting information
Polls are open 7 a.m.-9 p.m. The district has designated new polling places.
- District 1: If you voted at Clarkstown North, your polling place on Tuesday will be at Street School Community Center, 31 Zukor Road, New City
- District 2: If you voted in the Congers Community Center gym, your polling place on Tuesday will be on the upper level of the community center, 6 Gilchrest Road, Congers
- District 3: If you voted at Link Elementary School, your polling place on Tuesday will be at the Chestnut Grove Administration Center, 62 Old Middletown Road, New City
- District 4: If you voted at West Nyack Elementary School, your polling place on Tuesday will be at St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall, 128 Parrott Road, West Nyack
Clarkstown Board of Education
Residents will be asked to choose four candidates from the seven included on the ballot. The top three vote-getters will be appointed to serve the usual three-year term.

The fourth candidate elected will complete the remaining one year of Diane Hoeneveld’s term, left open by her death in December of last year. (In January, Kevin Grogan was appointed by the BOE to fill Hoeneveld’s seat until the election on May 19​.​ Grogan is not seeking election.)
Trustees Wendy Adolff and Michael Agliarloro are seeking re-election. He is the current president of the school board; she is the vice-president.

Also seeking a board seat are George Ballane, Tamara Bierker, Zizette Deutsch, Christian Jauntig and Matthew Spool.

- Spending proposal: $191,441,799
- Current budget: $202,438,814
- Decrease: 5.4 percent
- Tax levy increase: 1.71 percent
