West Nyack Man With Prior DWI Crashes Into Bedroom At 1AM: Police
He had circumvented the vehicle interlock device and was hit with a misdemeanor charge for that plus felony DWI charges after the crash.

NEW CITY, NY — A West Nyack resident who police said crashed his car into a house —narrowly missing a man lying in bed —faces felony charges of driving while intoxicated and unlicensed.
Clarkstown police were called to 9 Carnaby Court at 12:50 a.m. Friday. They found a white Infiniti SUV partially lodged in the lower level of the home. The vehicle’s tires were off the ground —and still spinning.
Jonathan Barnes, driver and sole occupant of the Infiniti, was extricated by emergency personnel through the rear window of the SUV.
