Wind Advisory Issued for Hudson Valley
Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and northern Westchester counties are affected.

Noticing snowflakes this morning? The Lake Effect snow hitting western New York is so strong it's pushing over the Catskills.
"The winds will also howl out of the NW at 10 to 20mph, gusting over 30mph … sometimes even to 40mph. That is going to take the already very cold temperatures in the 30s… and make it feel like the dead of winter," said Bill Potter on Hudson Valley Weather. "You’re really going to want to bundle up properly today… it’s flat out ugly outside."
Hazardous Weather Outlooks and Wind Advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service for Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Rockland, Putnam, Ulster and northern Westchester.
