Woman Hit With 6 Charges, 31 Tickets After Ignoring HV Traffic Stop
The chase happened around midnight Sunday.
HUGUENOT, NY — A Hudson Valley woman who led state police on a car and foot chase Sunday was arrested on six criminal charges and hit with 31 tickets.
When, at 11:52 p.m., police saw a Ford Mustang being driven on Peenpack Trail in Huguenot in violation of several vehicle and traffic laws, they tried to pull it over. Instead the driver kept going — as far as a residence on Somarelli Drive — and got out of the car. When the troopers tried to take her into custody, she ran away.
They caught her after a brief chase. Arresting her, they searched the Mustang, and found a small amount of drugs.
