Woman Hit Spring Valley Bar Patron In Face With Glass Bottle: PD
The victim required multiple stitches, according to police.
SPRING VALLEY, NY — A woman is accused of hitting a female patron in the face with a glass bottle at El Diamante Bar & Restaurant early Sunday.
Det. Sgt. Randy DiPaolo said the victim sustained a facial laceration which required four stitches.
On Wednesday, police charged Yenny Hernandez-Martinez, 40, of South Spring Valley, with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

On Sunday, the victim reported she had been assaulted at the business, which is at 10 South Main St., in the early morning hours, police said.
The victim told police she was hit in the face with a glass bottle, and she did not know the attacker.

The department’s Detective Bureau launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of Hernandez-Martinez, police said. She was arraigned in the Village of Spring Valley Justice Court, and she has been released on her own recognizance.
